The Effect Of Time Management On Learning Habits And How...

This reflective paper is mostly about reflecting on our past experience as a student and what worked and what didn’t in our study habits and how we can improve those habits in order to get more out of our learning. Reflecting on one’s own knowledge and experience is a valuable tool in order to learn from the mistakes that have been made, not just so they never happen again but so improvements can be made to increase knowledge and learning habits. These improvements can be made through the use of time management, learning management, course learning outcomes, peer support groups and the ALC (Academic Learning Centre). 1st paragraph - What is time management (what) Time management is the systematic, priority-based structuring of time allocation and distribution among competing demands(Dowling, Hadgraft et al. 2016). These competing demands can be many things including family life, recreational time, relaxing time and then study. While some people may spend a lot of time working, their efficiency and effectiveness may be compromised if they have not taken the time to properly plan and schedule their work (Dowling, Hadgraft et al. 2016). 2nd paragraph - Why is TM important to me (so what) Time management is important as to get the most out of the time period that is given to complete a task.
